During a three-day visit by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov the two sides signed an agreement on child adoption, settled on easing visa travel and pledged to continue dialogue on European missile defense. Sergei Lavrov commented on his visit to the US at the closing news conference on Wednesday."The schedule of the visit was packed – talks with President Obama in the White House, talks with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a meeting with members of Senate’s international relations committee, discussions of numerous bilateral projects with Russian Americans.
