Janmashtami celebrations

HYDERABAD: Every year Iskcon plans to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami festival in different ways. The Iskcon temple, in the city decided to decorate the whole darbar with full of colorful roses, carnations, tube roses and orchids to welcome our Laddu Gopal. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness will celebrate Janmashtami for two days, i.e. on August 22 at Kukatpally and on August 23 in Secunderabad. The festival will be observed on a grand scale with a participation of 5,000 devotees and 20 international delegates. Pujas and prayers will be performed, which will be followed by devotional dances, dramas, bhajans and other cultural events in the evening. Sahadeva Dasa, president of ISKCON said over 5,000 devotees and 20 international delegates are like to participate in the celebrations.
