
Colombian Dr. Jorge Reynolds has done it again developing the world’s smallest implanted pacemaker. Mass production of the device, which is smaller than a rice seed, is expected to begin in five years’ time. In 1958 Dr. Reynolds invented the first ever pacemaker which weighed a whopping 50 kilos. The new one will soon be tested on animals.Tags:
