India today tested its new BrahMos surface-surface supersonic cruise missile, designed jointly by India and Russia. According to the local media, the missile was fired from a mobile launcher in the Orissa State. The tested modification of the BrahMos has a range of 200km and can carry a 300-kg warhead.
