By Kevin Tripp, With gas prices near or above 4$ a gallon across the country President Obama’s White House and his reelection campaign in Chicago are refocusing much of their energy on energy. Speaking in front of a field of oil rigs on federal land outside of Carlsbad, New Mexico Mr. Obama repeated the slogan his team has given the new energy policy - “an-all-of-the-above energy strategy”. The President’s day was designed to showcase all of the above policy. Earlier this week the administration slapped China with new tariffs for their solar panel imports. Yesterday the president said while gas and oil are critical for the nation, solar energy is also important. Standing in front of a field of shimmering solar panels Mr. Obama said the nation can shift to an alternative energy without abandoning traditional fuel sources.
