Affleck’s “Argo” triumphs at 2013 Golden Globes

Ben Affleck won Best Director and Best Motion Picture Drama for the Iran hostage thriller “Argo”. The race for this award featured five strong contenders: "Argo," "Lincoln," "Life of Pi," "Django Unchained" and "Zero Dark Thirty." "Les Miserables," directed by Tom Hooper, won most of the
prizes. The musical based on Victor Hugos’ novel won Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical; Best Actor, Comedy or Musical (Hugh Jackman) and Best Supporting Actress (Anne Hathaway).Two Golden Globes were awarded to Tarantino's "Django Unchained" with the Best Screenplay (Quentin Tarantino) and Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz). . Source: Voice of Russia
