Prince Harry Confesses Killing Taliban militants

Grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, has finished his Afghanistan mission and is going home after serving 20 weeks in a country infested with radical Taliban insurgents. A NATO operation in Afghanistan kicked off some ten years ago. Before leaving the British base, the Prince of Wales gave an interview to the press, confessing he had killed Taliban fighters.
Prince Harry was deployed at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan's Helmand province where he served as an Apache co-pilot gunner, targeting and firing missiles at insurgents and providing fire support to ground troops.
In late December 2012, “Capitan Wales” did a good job eliminating one of Taliban field commanders with a Hellfire rocket. The operation was carried out by Prince Harry in person.
It has been the second time the younger son of Prince Charles was sent on a mission to Afghanistan. In 2007-2008, he spent 77 days in Central Asia before being hastily returned home after media blew the blackout surrounding his Afghan tour.
During the second mission in September 2012, the Defense Ministry decided to let the truth about Prince Harry’s whereabouts be known to the media but asked them to withhold all details till it wraps up.
Prince Harry is the first member of the British Royal Family to see active combat since the Duke of York, his uncle and Queen Elizabeth II’s second son, joined the Royal Navy to fight in the Falklands War.
