"The Brothers Karamazov" a hit on Japanese TV

“The Brothers Karamazov” TV series based on Feodor Dostoyevsky’s novel of the same name has won over a large audience in Japan.
Produced by the Fuji TV private channel, the film is set in modern-day Japan, with the plot and characters` names also changed. “The Brothers Karamazov” is one of the most widely read books in Japan.
