Tata Motors launches Tata Manza Club Class sedan

sedan photo: Sedan war1_ford-crown-victoria.gifTata Motors has launched Tata Manza, a club-class sedan in the Indian market, in both petrol and diesel versions, with prices starting at Rs 5.70 lakh for the petrol version, (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the diesel (Quadrajet) from Rs. 6.49 lakh. The diesel version is certified to give a mileage of 21.02 and the petrol version 13.7 km per litre. "Customer centricity is the hallmark of Tata Motors. With the Tata Manza Club Class, we are once again the first to introduce features never seen in its class,'' Tata Motors has launched Tata Manza, a club-class sedan in the Indian market, in both petrol and diesel versions, with prices starting at Rs 5.70 lakh for the petrol version. The prices of the Safire petrol version start from Rs 5.70 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the diesel (Quadrajet) range starts from Rs. 6.49 lakh). The diesel version is certified to give a mileage of 21.02 and the petrol version 13.7 km per litre. Tata Motors Managing Director Karl Slym said, "Customer centricity is the hallmark of Tata Motors. As desired by today's Indian motorist, the Tata Manza Club Class delivers premiumness. With the Tata Manza Club Class, we are once again the first to introduce features never seen in its class.'' The safety features include a collapsible steering column, anti-lock braking system and dual frontal airbags amongst others. Instead of the usual red line on the tachometer, the Critical Rev Indicator needle turns red when the engine crosses a critical RPM. The engine immobiliser and the central locking feature are built in for additional security. The Tata Manza Club Class comes with a touchscreen multi-media interface with in-built GPS and automatic climate control. Apart from GPS navigation, multi-media DVD player, Blu5 and other such functionalities all through a multi-colour 6.2 inch high resolution display at the touch of a finger. The car is available in six colours – Infinity Black (new), Tyrian Wine, Laser Red, Castle Grey, Dew White and Jet Silver -- and 4 trims levels -- LS, LX, VX, EX and EXL (leather trim). The company is also lining up dedicated managers attend to Manza buyers. The Tata Manza Club Class comes with a touchscreen multi-media interface with in-built GPS and automatic climate control.
