People in complete fervour to celebrate Diwali: Festival of light


festival of lights Diwali is all set to celebrate by the Delhites with full fervor. Despite the price hike, people and residents are celebrated the festival of prosperity, happiness and joy. Price rise was not a dampener as people thronged markets and sweet shops Delhi residents did some last minute shopping and women drew exquisite rangolis as the national capital readied to celebrate Diwali. Enthusiastic children burst firecrackers in the morning. People are busy in marketing and decorating to their homes and surrounding and also the colorful lighting to their houses. People celebrated Diwali festival with traditional and religious fervor and gaiety. In Delhi all persons belonging to different faiths have been celebrating festivals together. There were no reports of traffic snarls yet in the morning as people headed to neighbourhood markets that were brimming gifts and decorative items. Meanwhile the city government has instructed all its hospitals to immediately take care of burn cases patients brought in to the hospital during diwali celebrations. Keeping in view the apprehension of children and adults being burnt during bursting crackers, the hospitals have been asked to keep a few beds reserved for such cases apart from deploying the specialists. Delhi Police and the fire department made elaborate arrangements to ensure an accident free Diwali. The festival of lights marks the triumph of good over evil.
