Archaeologists working on the excavation site in the world famous Roman Baths in the English city of Bath, have discovered a large treasure of silver coins. The find dates back to 270 AD. Nearly 30,000 discovered coins will be subsequently sent to the British Museum. The treasure is the fifth largest ever found in Britain. After the Romans left Britain, the remains of the Roman baths were destroyed in the sixth century. Only a millennium later, at the end of the 18th century, they were restored. Source: Voice of Russia.
