ASIS to conduct Final Interviews to select Winners

Report by India Education bureau, New Delhi: Anglo Schools International Services (ASIS) - a new federation of British Boarding Schools, is all set to enter into the final phase of students admission in the British schools. ASIS will be conducting interviews for selected students for scholarship at the Radisson Blu Plaza on April 21, 2014 and April 22, 2014, 9.00 am Onwards. ASIS had organized a lecture tour last month to educate Indian students and parents England schooling and its facilities. The lecture Tour was followed by a round of entrance exams for students to become eligible for the 7 Crore Rupees Scholarships and other financial help ASIS plans to offer to Indian students. Indian students aged 13 and 16 will this week be competing for 100% scholarships to attend some of the world's best Boarding Schools in the UK. The schools are all members of the ASIS Federation, which offers places and scholarships to bright Indian students. Head teachers and Admission Tutors from Kings College, Taunton and St Bees School, Cumbria will be meeting the selected candidates who have already top scored in the ASIS preliminary entrance exams in English, Maths and General Knowledge. On an average, the candidates achieved over 80% in all three disciplines, where tests were set to English common entrance standards. Previously, they have also been interviewed by senior ASIS personnel, qualified a Reasoning Test and will now facing the final hurdle of an interview with the English head teachers in which scholarships worth more than £150,000 will be awarded.  Other scholarships ranging from £15,000 to £75,000 will also be awarded by ASIS to the candidates who are not successful in securing the 100% funding but will be eligible for other scholarships. Announcements of these fortunate candidates will be made in early May. Mr. David Boddy, Principal Partner, ASIS, says: “Indian students have a lot of talent and determination to change the world.
