Picture: Viktor Dmitriev Polunin has been performing in Novosibirsk since 2012 and this year he will star in Giselle (Albert), Swan Lake (Siegfried), The Nutcracker (Nutcracker), Spartacus (Spartacus), La Bayadere (Solor ), Le Corsaire (Ali), Paquita (lead dancer), Don Quixote (Basil) and Manon (Des Grieux). Formerly a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet in London, he is
currently a principal dancer with Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre and the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, now known as NOVAT.
