Jail term of three years in Oman for false Covid-19 cure claims

Muscat: People who make false claims of having discovered a drug to cure Covid-19 will face a jail term of three years, Public Prosecution has warned. A statement issued online said, "The publication of false news, data, or rumours that could harm public order is a crime punishable by up to three years' imprisonment.
