At least two people died and 15 injured after Ammonia gas leaked from a fertilizer manufacturing plant in northern Uttar Pradesh of India, reports Xinhua citing a local police official said on Wednesday.
The incident took place at the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) in Uttar Pradesh’s Phoolpur district on Tuesday night.
The two people who died are said to be senior officials of the IFFCO plant. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
