French President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for Covid-19. His sample results came positive after showing the virus symptoms, confirmed by Elysee Palace on Thursday.
“Emmanuel Macron will now isolate for seven days,” France’s President’s office said in a statement.
An official of the Elysee Palace said Macron is still in charge of running the country, however, he will work “remotely”.
France, this week, imposed an overnight curfew to deal with soaring COVID cases there.There have been two million confirmed cases in the country since the pandemic began, with more than 59,400 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Source: https://www.daily-bangladesh.com/
