A court in Iran recently sentenced Sahar Tabar, the Iranian Instagram star who was dubbed a ‘zombie’ for pretending to lookalike Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, to 10 years in prison on charges of insulting religion. She was arrested in 2019 in that case.
Confirming the matter, Sahar Tabar’s lawyer Sayeed Dehghan said he had heard of Sahar Tabar’s 10-year prison sentence but had not been officially informed.
In December 2017, there was a sudden uproar over Sahar’s picture on Instagram. The way Sahar was made herself look like Jolie in appearance and body shape is like scaring anyone.Rumor has it, she has had 50 plastic surgeries to be like Jolie. Many called her a ‘zombie’.
